- Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between the Hôtel Prince de Galles and the client concerning room bookings and stays at the hotel. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms by the client. - Reservations
The reservation becomes firm and final upon receipt of a written confirmation (by email or post) from the hotel, possibly accompanied by a credit card number as a guarantee.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse a reservation in case of non-payment or inappropriate behavior during previous stays. - Prices
Prices are indicated in euros, including all taxes, and cover the services specified in the booking. They may vary depending on the season, occupancy, and ongoing promotions.
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of local authorities, is not included and must be paid separately on site (according to the established agreement). - Payment Terms
Payment for the stay is due 3 (three) days before arrival or upon departure, according to the agreed terms. Payment guarantees (such as a charge for the first night or the full stay) may be required.
The hotel accepts major payment methods: cash, credit cards, holiday vouchers (subject to conditions). - Cancellation and Stay Modification
Individual cancellation: Unless otherwise specified, any cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival is free of charge. Beyond this period, the first night will be charged.
No-show: 100% of the first night will be charged.
Modification: Any change to a booking is subject to availability and may result in a change in price.
For group bookings (5 rooms or more), specific terms will be provided in a separate contract.
- Check-in and Check-out
Rooms are available from 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Any overstay may result in the charge of an additional night (at the discretion of the management, depending on the delay). - Use of Premises
The client agrees to use the room reasonably and to respect the hotel’s rules. The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Cleaning fees will apply in case of non-compliance.
Children are under the sole responsibility of their parents.
7a. Pets
Only the following animal is allowed: dogs, subject to prior approval from the management. A fee of €20 per day applies. The owner is responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by the pet during the stay.
- Damages
Any damage, deterioration, or abuse noted in the room or public areas will be charged to the client for the cost of repair, replacement, or cleaning.
The management reserves the right to debit, without prior notice, the credit card provided as a guarantee at the time of booking to cover these costs.
In case of major damage, the hotel reserves the right to take legal action. - Liability
The hotel declines all responsibility in case of loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in rooms or common areas. Safes are available in all rooms.
The hotel cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure (weather events, pandemics, strikes, etc.) preventing the fulfillment of the contract. - Complaints
Any complaint concerning the stay must be addressed to the management during the guest’s presence at the hotel to allow immediate resolution.
Post-stay complaints must be submitted in writing within 15 days after departure. After this period, no complaint will be processed. - Personal Data
In accordance with the GDPR regulations, personal data collected is used solely for managing reservations. Clients have the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by contacting the hotel via email.
